We are proud to announce the World Music Nashville Music Education Workshops. These workshops focus on many topics not usually covered in your local music store. In fact, some of our workshops cater to both the professional and aspiring musician.
- We teach the basics and advanced subjects of Music Theory and Ear Training, useful to improve a musician's musical ability or to help the future music student get a head start in advanced placement in Arts Programs in High School and College.
- We instruct on specific topics of music performance: Slide Guitar, Effects, Guitar Maintenance, etc.
- And our Band Workshops, Adult Jam Workshops, and Nashville Stomp Group... not only will you be learning critical skills of Musical Performance but you will be having fun while you do it!

Your abilities in drumming go beyond the basic feel of rhythm. This workshop will focus on proper technique, various developmental exercises, and playing as a unit. Improve your chances of making Drum Line, gain a better understanding of your skills on a single drum or drum kit, or take the course because you like to hit things.

Join University of North Texas Veteran and session ace Dan Hagen in a 4 week class that explores the scales/arpeggios, jazz theory and licks necessary to solo over Jazz standards, Jazz Blues and modal jams. The class will also learn some of the Jazz standards that will be called on a gig. Tunes will range from Duke Ellington to Miles Davis and Wes Montgomery.
This is a beginning to intermediate class open to all melodic instruments. Basic reading skills and basic proficiency on instrument required. Tablature will also be provided for guitar players.

LEARN THE SYSTEM!
The Nashville Number System is a type of music notation used by the professional session players in the city of Nashville. This workshop teaches you the basics of the system and how the Nashville system evolved. Taught by Chas Williams, the man who, literally, wrote the book on the subject, this system is the most crucial skill you need to learn in order to play in the studios of Music Row.
