A graduate of the Berklee College of Music in 2003, Joelle brings a wealth of musical training, performance, and experience to World Music. She earned a Bachelors of Arts degree in Music with an emphasis on Music Business. Joelle's performance experience credits her working with major studios and directors in California, New York City, Miami, and Nashville. She has worked with such artists as: John Alcock (Thin Lizzy, The Runaways), Elliot Easton (The Cars), Joel Feeney (LeAnn Rimes), and Kevin Savigar (Rod Stewart).
Joelle has extensive experience in Musical Theater and has worked in the productions of Annie, Voices United, Little Mary Sunshine, Runaways, Sweet Charity, and The Wizard of Oz. |

A graduate of the University of Hartford's Hartt School of Music, Rebecca received her Bachelors Degree in Music Education in 2003. She has taught extensively since 2003 and is a certified K-12 teacher. Rebecca specializes in guitar, piano, and voice and is a proficient performer in those instruments. She has shared the stage with such performers as: Shawn Colvin, Livingston Taylor, Tracy Grammer, Vance Gilbert, Cliff Eberhardt, Melissa Ferrick, and Tracy Bonham.
Her addition to the World Music Nashville Music Education Program adds another multi-faceted musician to an already impressive line of Professional Instructors. |

Melissa holds a bachelors degree in music composition from Pepperdine University in California. She has taught both vocal and piano studies since 1990 and has worked with many professionals in the Music Industry. Melissa's main specialty is her ability to compose music. Along with her career in Music Education, Melissa is also employed as an Event Musician. Her responsibilities include writing, arranging and performing her own music for various events, ceremonies, and celebrations. As this is her specialty, we believe that her addition to World Music Nashville will now open up a new area of study for the Education Program: Composition and Orchestration.
Along with instructing her students in both piano and voice, she takes much pride in teaching Music Theory to her students so that they are able to write their own compositions one day! |

Hailing from Hamilton, Montana, Ashten holds her Bachelors Degree in Music in Vocal Performance from Hastings College. She is currently attending Belmont University to earn her Masters Degree. Ashten has a number of performance credits to her experience. She was in the College Choir, Band, Chapel Band, and Entertainment Arts Ensemble at Hastings. She was a volunteer at the SHEC Firehouse Community Center as a voice, guitar, and piano instructor. She also worked extensively as a Worship Leader while volunteering at the Community Center.

Lindsey Rueter brings Classical Piano and Voice to World Music Nashville. An experienced instructor in both pedagogies, Lindsey earned her Bachelors Degree in Music (Vocal Performance) from Belmont University. At Belmont, she earned her place on the Dean's List, received awards as a Leadership Scholar and the MTNA Young Artist Winner for the state of Tennessee. Lindsey has had over 15 years of private vocal study as well as 5 years experience coaching others on classcial music, diction and language. She has also had many years of stage managing and production managment experience.
Lindsey's performance credits include Opera roles in The Medium by Menotti, The Merry Widow by Lehar and The Magic Flute by Mozart as well as Belmont University's Classcial Singer's Recital and the NATS competition. |
