Philip comes to World Music Nashville from the great state of Virginia where he attended Radford University.  He graduated with a Bachelor of Music Education degree with Dean's List Honors and a GPA of 3.7.  Philip specializes in instruction in many different instruments and could be considered a "One Man Band" if he had enough arms.  He has taught professionally since 2001 and has instructed students at the High School level for many years.

While in High School, Philip performed on stage with Shania Twain and renowned jazz musicians, Vince Lewis & Charlie Perkinson.  He is a recent winner of the Telluride Bluegrass Festival and is currently recording with Nora Jane Struthers and The Bootleggers.
