Jonathan has his Bachelor of Music Education from Youngstown State University.
He has been teaching privately for 6 years. He also has been an Elementary and High School Band Director, where he coordinated and taught programs in the Ohio area for four years.
Jonathan's passion is teaching all levels of Trumpet and also beginning levels of Trombone.

Ken studied music at the State University of New York, performing with woodwind professors from the Juliard School of Music. He received his Bachelors Degree in Performance from Indiana University and graduated Cum Laude in 1980. Ken has over thirty years of experience in Music Education and has received numerous awards, most notably seven Outstanding Educator awards from the Governor's School of the Arts. He was the founding director of the Middle Tennessee Young Artists Solo Competition and was responsible for administering and awarding thousands of dollars to talented young musicians in the Middle Tennessee area.
Along with his performance credits, Ken has extensive experience conducting and arranging music for chamber music and has taught master classes and sectionals for woodwinds in schools throughout Tennessee. His is a prolific performer and is always out playing with many groups in and around Nashville. He is usually a member of the orchestra in many of the local Broadway productions.
Ken integrates many aspects of Music Technology with his teaching. He has experience as a recording engineer and has released his own jazz album that spent eight weeks on the National Jazz Top 40 and peaked at #22 in the Nation. He is currently writing a book on performing Broadway shows for woodwind players. |
